How Dance Rewards collects, uses and protects personal data across the marketplace.

1. Controller

2. Data we collect

We collect only what is needed to run the marketplace:

  • Account data: name, email address, password hash, account type (Creator or Artist & Label), language preference.
  • Profile data: display name, bio, social handles, website, contact email, payout preference (PIX key or PayPal email).
  • Campaign data: campaign titles, briefs, missions, budgets, currencies, cover images and payment receipts.
  • Submission data: video links, submitted analytics screenshots and reported metrics.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage events needed for security and reliability.

3. How we use data

We process personal data to:

  • Create and secure your account and authenticate you (including sign-in with Google).
  • Publish campaigns, match Creators with Campaign Owners, and route submissions for review.
  • Confirm campaign payments and issue Creator payouts.
  • Provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Translate owner-authored campaign content between English and Portuguese so listings are readable in both languages.
  • Send service messages about your account, campaigns and submissions.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or the Brazilian LGPD applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (running your account and campaigns), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), legal obligation (accounting and tax records), and consent where required, for example for optional marketing messages. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Sharing your data

We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the platform, and with the counterparty you choose to work with.

  • Campaign Owners see the public profile, submissions and submitted analytics of Creators who join their campaign.
  • Creators see the public information of the Campaign Owner behind a campaign.
  • Infrastructure and hosting providers, our database and storage provider, and the AI provider used solely to translate campaign text.
  • Authorities where disclosure is required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Payout and financial information

Payout details such as PIX keys and PayPal emails are stored in a restricted area of our database and are visible only to you and to authorised staff processing your payout. Payment receipts uploaded by Campaign Owners are stored in a private bucket and served only through short-lived signed links.

7. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Retention

We keep account, campaign and submission data for as long as your account is active. After deletion, we remove or anonymise personal data, except records we must keep for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or legal-defence purposes.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of processing, or object to processing. You may also ask for information about how we share your data. Send requests to [PRIVACY EMAIL]; we respond within the period required by applicable law.

10. Security

We apply row-level access controls in our database, private storage buckets with short-lived signed URLs, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure, so we also ask you to use a strong, unique password.

11. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as interface language and audience mode. We do not use advertising cookies.

12. Children

Dance Rewards is not intended for people under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

We will post any updates on this page and adjust the "last updated" date. Material changes will also be communicated in the product or by email.
